After a series of successful medication approved for the erectile dysfunction or the so-called impotence (we may take as an example Sildenafil, known as “Viagra, sold since 1998 and Vardenafil, also called “Levitra”, found in pharmacies since late August 2003), another medication was created so as to complete the variety of these products and allow people to choose: this latest medication is tadafil (its commercial name is Cialis and could have been purchased since November 2003).
What makes the difference between Cialis and the other two erectile-dysfunction medications, is the fact that this one persists in the body for a longer period of time, improving or enabling the physical potency to have sex for 36 hours or more Cialis was considered to be more performing from this point of view. As the other two medications are prescribed to be taken for about an hour before the sexual act, Cialis does not give a time, yet a doctor should be assisted as studies show that there were men who have performed the sexual act for half an hour. In any case it is not advisable to use it more than once each day.
If discussing Cialis’s side effects, you should know that there are pretty much similar to those of Viagra and Levitra. The most well-known ones are dealing with indigestion, back pains, muscle aches and headaches. You should also be aware of the fact that if you combine this treatment with alcohol, the side effects can grow even worse, sometimes even dangerous.
Not everybody is advisable to take Cialis; so, if you are thinking about consuming it you should discuss to your doctor first to see if Cialis would or would not beneficial for you. Similar to the cases of Levitra and Viagra, Cialis has accomplished great effects on men suffering from diabetes. We may take as an example a study published in December 2002, specialized in the aspect of Diabetes Care( it studied people having diabetes who were facing also erectile dysfunction for more than three months). The study high lined the idea that twenty men suffered from diabetes type1, while 196 men were having type2. A part of these men have tried Cialis in a dose of 10mg before the sexual act for 12 weeks, another part took 20mg in the same conditions and the other part tried the placebo effect(using a similar pill with no effects)
The result has shown that 25 men skipped the treatment for unknown reasons. In the case of the rest, the greatest effects on erections and sexual acts were accomplished by those who used Cialis. Sixty four percent of those using a 20mg doze and fifty four percent of those using a 10mg doze have significantly turned their erections into something better. Be aware of the fact that Cialis has not modified the A1c levels (blood glucose control). Men suffering from diabetes, both type1 and type2 felt only the expected effects.
